Meet the GROW Team
We are career gardeners, designers and builders with years of experience in Boulder County.
Owner

Adam Grove
My green thumb began at a young age helping my folks develop beds and maintain the grounds of their horse farm. In college I worked on a commercial tree farm, and later at a vineyard getting involved in all aspects of planting and care. My academic background is in architecture, and my first career was in specialty architectural fabrication. Taking the reins at GROW has allowed me to get back to architecture and its connection with landscape.
Favorite plant:
Trinidad Pinyon Pine; it is a rare being, with the most incredible structure and blue-green needles.
Favorite thing about this job:
Working outside with amazing people everyday. Helping to contribute to a more textured and beautiful local community.
Founder

Katie Kilbury
I grew up helping my mother in her garden and working for a local gardener. Trained as a chemical engineer, I spent 6 years in that field, knowing I wanted to retire to gardening. Then I realized I didn’t have to wait for retirement—and GROW was born. I went through the Colorado Master Gardener program and continue to attend courses and conferences on plants and growing techniques.
Favorite plant:
Agastache rupestris (sunset hyssop) - it brings so many hummingbirds to my garden!
Favorite thing about this job:
I love getting to know our customers and bringing beauty to their homes and the community. I also love improving my community in an environmentally responsible way.
Head Gardener & Manager

Chandler Foresman
I have a Bachelor’s degree in horticulture and a Certificate in Herbology.

Gardenias-they smell heavenly!
Favorite thing about this job:
I love spending all day outside in the Colorado sunshine with the flowers and the bugs!

I worked on a flower farm while I was in college, and we sold beautiful bouquets at the Boulder Farmers Market. I’ve worked on the administrative side of things for 2 decades. My passion and expertise is people. I have high standards for client service and I love working with people who do too.
Favorite plant:
Ferns—they remind me of the lush Oregon forests where I was born and raised.
Favorite thing about this job:
GROW is everything I could ask for in an employer. I wake up every day and look forward to working with some of my favorite humans at a company whose business ethics completely align with my personal philosophy.
